Sanatsal form olarak 'monolith'

Abstract

Günümüz sanatında, monolith formun sanatsal anlamı ile yapısal bağıntıkurulmasını gerektiren, araç ve amaç bağlamında birbiriyle benzeşen eserlerde etkin veetkili bir biçimde kullanıldığı gözlemlenmiştir.'Sanatsal form olarak monolith' isimli bu çalışmada, ilkel çağlardan modernzamanlara değin görünürlülüğü süreklilik arz eden, adı ister mastaba, ziggurat, piramit,obelisk, mimari sütun olsun, ister resmin konusu ya da heykelin yapıtaşı olsun 'biricik'olma özelliğine sahip formların içlerinde barınan 'monolith' kavramı bütüncül bir bakışaçısıyla incelenmiştir.Monolithlerin 'yekpare anıt', 'mimari yapı', 'temsili form' vb. çağrışımlı kültürelolgu düzeyine taşınarak, tarihsel anlam katmanlarının esnek olmayan bütünselliğinegönderme yapabildiği ve ilahi kudret, siyasi erk, toplumsal hiyerarşiden tavizverilmeksizin her türden sanatsal bildirimin muhatabına iletilmesine aracılık ettiğianlaşılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Monolith, Monad, Çağdaş Sanat, Anıtsal Mimari, KamusalSanat.

In today's art, it has been observed that the monolith form is used effectively andeffectively in works that require the establishment of a structural relationship with theartistic meaning, and which are similar to each other in terms of means and purpose.In this work titled 'Monolith as an artistic form', there are forms that have thefeature of being 'unique', whether they are mastabas, ziggurats, pyramids, obelisks,architectural columns, the subject of the painting, or the building blocks of the sculpture,whose visibility has been continuous from primitive times to modern times. The conceptof 'monolith', which shelters in, is examined from a holistic perspective.Monoliths are called 'monolithic monument', 'architectural structure','representational form' etc. it has been understood that it can refer to the inflexibleintegrity of the layers of historical meaning by moving to the level of associative culturalphenomena and mediate the transmission of all kinds of artistic notifications to theaddressee without compromising the divine power, political power, and social hierarchy.Keywords: Monolith, Monad, Contemporary Art, Monumental Architecture,Public Art.
