Postmodernizm ve 1970 sonrası resim sanatında kendine mal etme ve uygulamaları

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Postmodern sanat pratikleri arasında yer alan Kendine Mal Etme, Modenizm'den Postmodrenizm'e kadar geçen süre kuramsal ve sanatsal çerçevede elealınıp, yapıtlar üzerinden örneklendirilerek anlatılmıştır. Kendine Mal Etme pratiğinin geliştiği postmodernizmin anlaşılabilmesi için modernizmin anlaşılması gerekliliği düşünülerek, birinci bölümde modernizm ve modern sanatın tarihsel perspektiften bakış açısısıyla genel karakteristik özelliklerinin incelenmesine çalışılmıştır. İkinci bölümde Postmodernizm, modernizm'den sonraki süreç ekseninde ele alınıp bu bağlam doğrultusunda kavramsal olarak değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü ve dördüncü bölümde genel karakter özellikleri ile postmodern sanat, sanatçılar ve yapıtları incelenmiştir. Kendine mal etme pratiğinin anlaşılması için postmodern sanat stratejilerinin özellikleri ele alınmıştır. Kendine mal etme sanat pratiğine, postmodern resim sanatı üzerinden odaklanıp, sanatçılar ve yapıtları incelenerek, örneklendirilerek anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır.

In this study, Appropriation, which is one of the Postmodern art practices, has been discussed within the theoretical and artistic framework of the period from Modernism to Postmodernism, and described by exemplifying through works. In the first part, considering the necessity of understanding modernism in order to understand postmodernism, which Appropriation emerged from, the general characteristics of modernism and modern art have been examined within the context of their historical perspective. In the second part, Postmodernism has been discussed within the scope of the period after modernism, and conceptually evaluated in this context. In the third and fourth part, postmodern art, artists and their works have been examined with their general characteristic traits. In an attempt to understand the practice of appropriation, the characteristics of postmodern art strategies have been discussed. By focusing on appropriation in terms of postmodern painting art, artists and their works have been investigated and explained via examples.
