İlkokul ve ortaokullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin algılarına göre öğretmen yeterlilikleri

Abstract

Bu araştırma, Batman ili Merkez ilçesinde bulunan ilkokul ve ortaokullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin etkili öğretmen yeterliliklerine yönelik algı düzeylerini anlamaya yönelik betimsel bir çalışmadır. Tarama modeline uygun olarak düzenlenen araştırmada, MEB `Öğretmen Yeterlilikleri Kitabından` yararlanılarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen 4 alandan oluşan 15 maddelik öğretmen yeterlilikleri anketi kullanılmıştır. Anket hem faktör analizi hem de güvenirlilik katsayısı bakımından literatürdeki güvenirlilik değerlerine uygun sonuçlar vermiştir.Araştırmanın evrenini, Batman ili Merkez ilçesinde ilkokul ve ortaokullarında görev yapan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini belirtilen ilkokul ve ortaokullarda görev yapan 597 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır.Araştırma verilerinin analizinde parametrik testlerden t-testi ve ANOVA testi sonuçları kullanılmıştır.Bu araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, öğretmenler, kendi meslektaşlarının öğretmenlik yeterliliklerini tüm maddelerin aritmetik ortalamasına göre `Katılıyorum` düzeyinde yeterli görmektedirler. Anket maddelerinin tek tek analiz sonuçlarına göre de öğretmenler, anket maddelerinin her birine `Katılıyorum` düzeyinde görüş belirtmişlerdir. Cinsiyet değişkeninin, eğitim yapılan okul değişkeninin ve meslekteki kıdemin öğretmenlerin etkili öğretmen yeterliliklerine yönelik algılarını belirleyen değişkenler olmadığı belirlenmiştir.

This research is a descriptive study aiming to understand the efficient teacher competence perception level of the teachers, working at the primary and secondary schools located in the central district of Batman province. Developed by the researcher making use of the book `Öğretmen Yeterlilikleri` published by the ministry of national education, the teacher competence survey consisting of 4 fields and 15 articles is used in the research held in accordance with the screening model. The survey gives convenient results for both factor analysis and reliability value in terms of reliability coefficient in the literature.The core of this research is constituted by the teachers working at the primary and secondary schools located in the central district of Batman province. 597 teachers working at the primary and secondary schools located in the central district of Batman province constitute the sample of this research. T-test and ANOVA test results is used in the analysis of the research data.According to the results of this research, teachers score their colleagues' teaching competence with respect to the arithmetic mean of all items as sufficient on the `I agree` level. Also according to the results of the individual analysis of each survey item, teachers opine as `I agree` on all the survey items. It is stated that variables of gender, the school that education is provided and the professional seniority are not variables affecting teachers' perception of effective professional competence.
