Agricultural producers organizations in the European Community

Abstract

ÖZET Çalışma Avrupa Topluluğuna dahil. çiftçilerinin yaşam satandartlarını ve gelişmelerini belirleyen topluluk kararları üzerinde nasıl etkili olduklarını incelemektedir. Bu amaçla COPA, COGECA, CEJA, EFA gibi topluluk düzeyinde çok etkili olan oraganizasyonlar seçilmiş ve incelenmiştir. - 111 -

ABSTRACT This study reviews how the European farmers organized themselves at national and European level to exert influence on decisions which substantially affect their standard of living and the development of their farms. For this purpose agricultural organizations which have the strong influence at Community level such as the Committee of Professional Agricultural Organizations (COPA), General Committee of Agricultural Cooperation in the European Economic Community (COGECA), The European Council of Young Farmers (CEJA), European Training and Development Center for Farming and Rural Life (EFA), have chosen and analyzed in detail.
