dc.description.abstractABSTRACT Colonial novels form a genre in the history of the British novel. These novels study the cultural conflicts caused by pressure on the colonized countries on the part of colonialist countries. Therefore, an analysis of the colonial novels gives one lively pictures of colonialism. Moreover, they contribute a lot to the study of human relationships. In the exploited regions, white men turn into dedicated members of the western civilization to feed colonialism and satisfy its needs. In this thesis, colonialism will be examined in Rudyard Ki pi ing ' s Kim, Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness. E.M.
