Fevziye Abdullah Tansel`in hayatı ve eserleri

Abstract

Fevziye Abdullah Tansel (1912-1988) sanat hayatına şiirle başlamış ve gençlik yıllarında duygu yüklü şiirler yazmıştır. İlerleyen yıllarda Mehmet Âkif, Namık Kemal, Ziya Gökalp, Mehmet Emin Yurdakul, Ömer Seyfettin gibi Türk büyükleri üzerinde araştırmalar yapmış ve onlar üzerine önemli eserler vermiştir. Tansel gayretli bir araştırmacı, hayatını ilme ve eğitime adamış fedakâr bir eğitimcidir. Yorulmak bilmeden, adeta iğne ile kuyu kazarcasına yaptığı çalışmalarla edebiyat tarihimizde büyük bir boşluğu doldururken; azmi, çalışkanlığı, titizliği ile de örnek bir araştırmacı hüviyetinin modeli olmuştur. Ayrıca, yarım asra yaklaşan eğitimcilik hayatında yetiştirdiği birbirinden kıymetli öğrencilerle Cumhuriyet sonrası birikimli, aydın şahsiyetlerin yetişmesinde önemli katkıları olmuş bir isimdir. Bütün bunların yanında Türk dilinin öğretilmesi ve geliştirilmesi için hassasiyetle çalışmış, bu alanda yazdığı eserleri okullarda uzun müddet ders kitabı olarak okutulmuş, Türk dili ile ilgili çok çeşitli kurumlarda görevler üstlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Fevziye Abdullah Tansel ve eserleri ilk kez bir bütün olarak incelenerek edebiyat bilimi dünyasına sunulmaktadır.

Fevziye Abdullah Tansel (1912-1988) started her art life by writing poems and wrote sentimental poems in her youth. In the following years, she made researches on the important Turkish authors such as Mehmet Âkif Ersoy, Namık Kemal, Ziya Gökalp, Mehmet Emin Yurdakul and Ömer Seyfettin and published very important works about them. Tansel is a diligent researcher and a devoted educationalist, who has devoted her life to knowledge and education. Without getting tired and with the Works that she has done which is like attempting to do impossible, she has both filled an important gap in our history of literature and has become the model of a sample researcher identity by means of her determination, diligence and thoroughness. Furthermore, with her valued students that she has educated in her academic life which is almost fifty years, she is an important person who has significant contributions on educating intellectual and enlightened people in post-republic era. Moreover, she has worked in precision to teach and develop Turkish language, her works that she has written in this area have been used as course books in schools for a long time and she has taken on tasks about Turkish language in diffirent institutions.In this study, Fevziye Abdullah Tansel and her works have been analyzed as a whole for the first time and presented to the World of literature.
