Futbol oyuncularının ego durumlarıyla takımlarındaki pozisyonlarının uyuşma (bağdaşıklık) düzeyinin saha içi performansları ile ilişkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, futbol oyuncularının (futbolcuların) takım içinde görev yaptıkları mevkilerin gerektirdiği (beklenen) ego durumları ile (gözlenen) ego durumlarının bağdaşıklık düzeyinin, oyuncuların saha içi performanslarıyla ilişkisini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Süper Lig'de yer alan; Galatasaray, Trabzonspor ve Gençlerbirliği ile 1. Lig'de yer alan; Samsunspor ve Antalyaspor takımlarında kaleci, orta saha, bek, stoper ve forvet mevkilerinde oynayan 103 futbol oyuncusu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan sporculara Transaksiyonel Analiz Kuramı bağlamında Ego Durumları Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Buna ek olarak Araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan Kişisel Bilgi Formu verilerek doldurması sağlanmıştır. Teknik Direktörlerden futbol mevkilerinin her birinin gerektirdiği düşünülen kişisel özellikleri Ego Durumu Ölçeğinde doldurması istenmiştir. Futbol oyuncularından ise, kendilerinden algıladıkları özellikleri işaretlemeleri istenmiştir. Teknik Direktörlerden ayrıca 5'li likert ölçeğine göre oyuncuları gerek saha içi, gerekse antrenmanlardaki performanslarına göre değerlendirmeleri istenmiştir. Futbol oyuncularının oynadıkları mevki ile ego durumları ki-kare istatistiği ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Oyuncuların performanslarının, ego durumları ile takım içi mevkileri arasındaki bağdaşım durumuna göre nasıl bir görünüm sergilediğini belirlemek amacıyla da ki-kare uyum istatistiği uygulanmıştır. Analiz sonucu elde edilen ki-kare değerinin anlamlı çıkması durumunda ise post-hoc testlerinden yararlanılmıştır.Araştırma kapsamında tüm verilerin anlamlılık düzeyi p < 0.05 düzeyinde sınanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizi SPSS istatistik paket programı ve Microsoft Excel programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır.Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara bakıldığında, mevkilerdeki oyunculardan, mevkinin gerektirdiği ego durumları bağlamında beklenen (birincil ve ikincil) ego durumları ile gözlenen (birincil ve ikincil) ego durumları arasındaki bağdaşım bağlamında; kaleci, orta saha, bek ve stoper mevkilerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı sonuçlar elde edilmiştir.Futbol oyuncularının takım içindeki mevkileriyle-ego durumu bağdaşımında saha içi performanslarına baktığımızda, futbol oyuncusunun mevkisinin gerektirdiği (beklenen) ego durumu ile gözlenen ego durumu arasındaki bağdaşıklık (örtüşme, uyumu) söz konusu olduğunda, oyuncunun, performanslarının daha iyi olduğunu, futbol mevkisi ile ego durumu uyumlu olmadığında oyuncunun performansının daha düşük olduğu görülmüştür.

The aim of this study is to present the relationship between the expected ego situations (observed) of football players' (footballers) positions in the team and level of ego situations with their in-field performance. The sample of the research includes 103 football players whose positions are goalkeeper, mid-field players, defense players, back players and strikers and who play in Galatasaray, Trabzonspor and Gençlerbirliği in Super League and Samsunspor and Antalyaspor. Ego Situations Scale was applied to sportsmen taking part in the research as a part of Transactional Analysis Theory. In addition to this, they were made to fill Personal Information Form given by the Researcher. Football coaches were asked to fill Ego State Scale with respect to personal characteristics of the players that is required by their positions. Players were asked to fill the same Ego State Scale with respect to their own personal characteristics. Football coaches were also asked to fill Likert Scale with respect to performances of the players at match and training performances.The positions they play and their ego situations were compared via chi-squared statistics. Also, chi-squared adaptation statistics was applied in order to identify how their performances look according to their agreement situation between their ego situations and their in-team positions. Upon getting the result from the analysis that chi-squared value was meaningful, post-hoc tests were applied.Within the scope of the research, the meaningfulness level of all data were evaluated in the extent of p < 0.05. The analysis of the resulting data was done through SPSS statistics package programme and Microsoft Excel.When looked into the results of the research, agreement between expected (primary and secondary) ego situations from the players in the positions in terms of the ego situation that the position requires and observed (primary and secondary) ego situations in terms of agreement; a statistically meaningful results were got from the goalkeeper, mid-field, back and defense positions. When we look into the positions of the football players in their team and their ego situations and when it comes to the agreement (overlapping, correlation) between ego situation that the position requires (expected) and observed ego situation, it was seen that the performances of the football players were better. When the position and the ego situation were not agreeable, it was seen that the performance of the player was lower.
