F. Alnar applied for Maqams in 10 Yunus Emre Dahis andConcerto of Qanun )` aims to analyze 2 pieces of Hasan Ferit ALNAR polyphonicTurkish Music, which have Turkish Music notes and be an example as a guide forthose who study on this topics.2 pieces of Hasan Ferit ALNAR which important ahout Turkish Music, 10 I1ahisof Yunus Emre which he converted to polyphonic music and his Concerto of Qanun.are investigated about Maqam and Harmony topics. At investigate time, both of 2pieces are searched by measure and measure. Yuous Emre's 10 I1ahis has beencomposed before, by rules ofClassical Turkish Music. But in Concerto of Qanun, thepassages which don't include Turkish Music character in Concerto of Qanun, arediscarded outside of the search.vThe parts, which were chosen in pieces, are exerninated according to ClassicalHarmony, Quarted Harmony and Interval Systems.In this thesis, we searched for chords and characteristic Cadances which H. FeritALNAR used in Maqams. We classed the results of this search and wrotecharacteristic Cadances. Statistics have been written, that we've fO/.Uld after thisclassify.According to this statistics, we made a table that explains, which Harmony Systemhow often used in which maqam by H. Ferit Alnar. With this table, we tried tointerpret which hannonic structure matches, which maqam. At this time we foundout the chords, which most used by H. Ferit AInar in maqams and these chords areshowed in a second table.We hope that young Turkish Musicians to take Hasan Fedt ALNAR as anexample and Turkish Music will be richer, with new composition and composers.
