Beton delme ve kesme işlerinde çalışanların fertilite durumlarının değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

İnsanlığın gelişimiyle beraber çalışma koşulları da değişim göstermektedir. Her geçen gün yeni iş kolları oluşmakta ve her yeni iş kolu, çalışan sağlığını olumsuz etkileyen etmenleri beraberinde getirmektedir. Çalışma hayatı bireylerin sağlığını doğrudan etkileyerek toplum sağlığını şekillendirmektedir. Çalışanların işyerlerinde maruz kaldıkları risk etmenleri hem kendi sağlıklarını hem de gelecek nesillerin sağlığını etkilemektedir. Çalışma koşullarına dair alınacak tedbirlerin toplum sağlığının bugününü ve yarınını belirleyeceği aşikardır. Bu bakış açısıyla sağlıklı nesiller için bugünün çalışma koşulları incelenmeli ve iyileştirilmelidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, yeni bir iş kolu olarak sayılabilecek beton delme ve kesme işlerinde çalışanların maruz kaldığı risk etmenlerini açıklayarak üreme sağlığına olabilecek olumsuz etkilerini incelemektir. Bu amaçla İstanbul ilinde, beton delme ve kesme işlerinde en az üç yıldır çalışan 75 evli erkek ile farklı sektörlerde az tehlikeli ofis ortamında en az üç yıldır çalışan 75 evli erkek gönüllülük esasına göre örnekleme alınmıştır. Anket, çalışanların sağlık durumlarının ve üreme sağlığını olumsuz etkileyebilecek etmenlerin tespit edilmesine yönelik hazırlanarak, her iki gruba da aynı soruları içeren yüz yüze röportajlar şeklinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Parametreleri değerlendirmek üzere; anket yoluyla elde edilen verilerin, verilen normalite ile homojenliği belirlenmiş ve istatistiki anlamlılıkları ki-kare testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda, üreme sağlığı parametrelerinden spesifik olarak `çalışan eşinde düşük (abortus) öyküsü` durumunda artış ve bu durumun istatistiksel olarak diğer demografik parametrelerden etkilenmediği görülmüştür.

Working conditions change with the development of mankind. New business lines are emerging day by day, and each new business line brings along the factors affecting the working health negatively. Working life shapes the health of the community by directly affecting the health of the individual. The risk factors that employees are exposed to in the workplace affect both their own health and the health of future generations. It is clear that the measures to be taken regarding working conditions will determine the present and the future of the health of the community. From this point of view, today's working conditions for healthy generations should be examined and improved.The purpose of this study is to examine the potential negative effects of reproductive health on workers who are exposed to concrete drilling cuts that could be considered as a new business line. For this purpose, 75 married men who worked in concrete drilling and cutting works for at least three years and 75 married men who worked for three years in a less dangerous office environment in different sectors were sampled on the basis of volunteerism. The content of the questionnaire was prepared in order to determine the factors that may negatively affect the reproductive health and reproductive health of the employees and a direct questionnaire study including the same questions was conducted in both groups. The homogeneity of the data obtained by the questionnaire to evaluate the parameters was determined by the given normality and statistical significance was analyzed by chi-square test.As a result of the study, an increase in the `abortus trait` of the working partner was observed specifically for the reproductive health parameters and this statistically was not affected by other demographic parameters.
