Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Metil Violet (MV), Reactive Blue 203 (RB203), Reactive Blue 220 (RB220) ve Remazol Gelb GR (RG-GR) boyar maddelerinin sulu çözeltilerden kazein yüzeyine adsorpsiyonu için zaman, pH, iyon şiddeti ve sıcaklık parametrelerin etkisi incelendi. Deneysel sonuçlara göre; kazein yüzeyine adsorbe olan boyar madde miktarlarının, azalan iyon şiddeti (0,1-0,01) ve artan sıcaklık (18-45°C) ile arttığı, Metil Violetin adsorbe olan miktarının artan pH (2,2-3,8) ile artarken Reactive Blue 203 (RB203), Reactive Blue 220 (RB220) ve Remazol Gelb GR (RG-GR)'nin adsorbe olan miktarının azaldığı bulundu. Ayrıca; adsorpsiyon denge süresinin yaklaşık olarak tüm boyar maddeler için 3 saat, adsorpsiyon işleminin endotermik ve ikinci dereceden kinetik modele uygun olduğu belirlendi.ANAHTAR KELİMELER: kazein/ boyar madde/ adsorpsiyon/ izoterm/ kinetik In this study, the effects of various parameters, such as time, pH, ionic strength and temparature was investigated for the adsorption of Methyle Violet (MV), Reactive Blue 203 (RB203), Reactive Blue 220 (RB220) and Remazol Gelb GR (RG-GR) onto casein surface from aqueous solutions. According to experimental results; it was found that the adsorbed amount of the dyes on casein decreased with increasing ionic strength (0,1-0,01 M NaCl) but increased with increasing temparature (18-45°C). The experiments also showed that the adsorption of Reactive Blue 203, Reactive Blue 220 and Remazol Gelb GR dyes on casein surface decreased with increasing pH (2,2-3,8), while the adsorption of the Methyle Violet dye on the casein surface increased with increasing pH (2,2-3,8). It was determined that the balance time of the adsorption was found 3 hours for all dyes, the adsorption process was endothermic and the best kinetic model was achieved by a second order equation.KEYWORDS: casein/ dye/ adsorption/ isotherm/ kinetic.
