Ayakkabı Dünyası arşivindeki kumaş sayalı geleneksel ayakkabıların incelenmesi

Abstract

Bedenlerini iklim koşullarından korumak için keçeleşmiş hayvan yünleri ve derileriyle sararak ilk giysileri oluşturan insanoğlu, ayaklarını; kar, buz, sıcak kum, taş ve dikenli bitkilerden korumak için sardığı bitki ve deri parçaları, birçok evrelerden geçerek günümüze ulaşmıştır. Çıkış noktası gereksinim olmakla birlikte, her çağda çeşitli coğrafyalarda statü ve ekonomik gücün göstergesi olan ayakkabılar, giysilerle bütünleşmiştir. Zenginlik ve ihtişam, elbiselerde olduğu gibi ayakkabılarda da gereç, biçim ve süslemeler ile sağlanmıştır. Ayakkabı Dünyası mağazaları sahibi Sayın Mehmet Akbacakoğlu'na ait Ankara ve İstanbul'daki arşiv ülkemizde ve çeşitli ülkelerde yapılan farklı yüzyıl ve kültürlere ait ayakkabılardan oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada ülkemizde Osmanlı ve Cumhuriyet döneminden günümüze kadar olan (19–20.Yüzyıl) süreçte arşivde sergilenen ayakkabılar araştırma kapsamına alınmıştır. Arşivde tekstil malzemesi kullanılarak oluşturulmuş ayakkabılar; envanter numarası, yapım dönemi, biçim, gereç, renk, numara, cinsiyet, üretim ve süsleme tekniği yönlerinden özellikleri belirlenerek hasar - onarım durumu saptanmış ve ayakkabılara ait bilgi formları oluşturulmuştur. Koleksiyonunun mesleği ayakkabıcılık olan, deneyimli ve bilinçli biri tarafından oluşturulması ve ileride müzeye dönüştürülmesi düşünülen arşivdeki ayakkabıları tanıtmak ve belgelemek, giyildiği zamanın zevk, beğeni, ayakkabı giyim alışkanlıklarına ışık tutmak, gelenek ve göreneklerimizi yansıtmak ve kültürel değerlerimize sahip çıkarak gelecek nesillere ve ilgilenenlere kaynak hazırlamak hedeflenmiştir. Plant and leather scraps which the human beings, who created first clothes by wrapping their bodies with shagged animal wool and leathers to protect their bodies from climatic conditions, wrapped their feet to protect them from snow, ice, hot sand, stones and thorny plants have come until today by going through phases. Their starting point being necessity, shoes were integrated with clothes as indicators of status and economic power in every age in various geographies. Wealth and glory were enabled with tools, shapes and ornamentations in shoes as well as clothes. The archive in Ankara and İstanbul belonging to Mr. Mehmet Akbacakoğlu, the owner of Ayakkabı Dünyası stores, comprises of shoes belonging to different centuries and cultures made in our country and in other countries. In this study, from Ottoman Empire and Republic until today that are the shoes exhibited in the archive (19 th-20 th Century) are taken into the scope of research. İn archive the shoes made by using textile material were determined in terms of the properties, inventory number, production period, shape, instrument, color, size, gender, production and ornamentation technique and damage-repair status was defined and information forms regarding the shoes were prepared. It was targeted that the collection be constituted with an experienced, conscious person whose occupation is shoe making and selling, to introduce and document the shoes in the archive which is planned to transform into a museum in the future, to enlighten the taste, inclination, shoe wearing habits of the period in which they were worn, to reflect our customs and traditions and to prepare resources for future generations and people who are interested in by protecting our cultural values.Key Words: Traditional Hand Craft, traditional shoe with cloth upper, Ayakkabı Dünyası archive
