Cumhuriyet Dönemi Türk resminde horoz imgesi üzerine çağdaş yorumlar

Abstract

Sanat, insan sezgilerinin ilk izleri ile doğmuştur. İlk çağlarda ilkellerin korku, büyü, inanç ve kutsallık çerçevesinde oluşan ilk hayvansal izler, önceleri doğanın taklidi iken daha sonra sanatçıların yeni anlam ve kavramlar yüklediği, yeniden oluşturduğu sanatsal imgelere dönüşmüşlerdir. Özde, her imge bir ifade, bir iletişim biçimidir. Sanatçılar yapıtlarında zaman zaman ifade biçimi olarak `horoz imgesi`ni kullanmışlardır. Bu çalışma `horoz imgesi`nin, Türk-İslam kültüründeki önemi ve Cumhuriyet dönemi Türk resim sanatına ifade biçimi olarak yansısı, kronolojik sırayla incelenmek üzere hazırlanmıştır. Tezin ilk bölümünde, araştırmanın kuramsal tanımlamalarının yanı sıra konunun tarihsel ve düşünsel bağlamlarına değinilmiş, farklı kültürlerde ve sanatlarında ele alınışına yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Cumhuriyetten günümüze sanat tarihsel süreç içerisinde `horoz imgesi` konusuna farklı bağlamlarla yaklaşan, sanatçı örnekleri incelenmiş, değişik biçimlerde yorumlanışı irdelenmiştir. Son bölümde ise tez süresince okunan kitaplar, görsel deneyimler ve sanat yapıtlarının bıraktığı etkiler, düşüncelerde şekillenerek sözün, 'imge'de yer bulmasına olanak sağlamıştır. Ayrıca `horoz imgesi`, `savaşım kavramı` üzerinden uygulama çalışmalarında biçim, içerik etkileşiminde deneyimlenmiş, konu; plastik sanatlarda anlamlandırılmaya çalışılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Horoz İmgesi, Simge, Resim

The art was born from the first traces of human intuition. In the ancient periods, the animal imprints shaped according to fear, magic, faith and holiness were initially mimics of nature in primitive humans. Later these imprints transformed into newly formed artistic images that artists imposed new meanings and concepts. In essence, each image is a way of communication. The artists sometimes used `the rooster image` as an expression in their paintings. This study was performed to investigate the place of `the rooster image` and its symbolic meanings in Turkish-İslamic culture and their reflection on Turkish paintings in chronologic order. In the first part of the thesis, theoretic descriptions of the investigation and also historic and intellectual context of the subject were addressed and how it is dealt with in different cultures and their arts were briefly included. In the second part, examples of artists, who approached `the rooster image` in different contexts during the chronology of art from early republic period to contemporary period were examined. In the last part, shaping of thoughts based on the books read during the thesis preparation, visual experiences and impact of the art works enabled placement of words in the image. Also application studies of `the rooster image` over `fight concept` was experimented in format and content interaction. The subject was tried to make sense of artistic plastic arts.Key Words : The rooster image, Symbol, Painting
