Heykel santında desenin rolü

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, tarih süzgecinden geçerek günümüze kadar ulaşmış örnekleriyle, heykel sanatının icrasında önemli bir süreci kapsayan desenin bir fikir arayışı yöntemi olarak önemi ele alınmıştır. Çizimin bir iletişim aracı olarak kullanımından başlanarak 20. yy'ın ortalarına kadar yaşamış ve eserleriyle tarihe geçmiş heykeltıraşların biyografik bilgilerinden de yararlanılarak desene verdikleri önem tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Tez, araştırma sırasında ulaşılabilen, ünlü heykel yapıtlarının ve onlara ait desen eskizlerinin görsel örnekleriyle ve bir kişisel uygulamayla da desteklenerek zenginleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen verilere göre birçok eskizin çeşitli sebeplerle günümüze ulaşamamış olmasına rağmen, gerek eser planlamasında gerekse eğitim sürecinin önemli bir parçası olarak, desenin heykel tarihinin her döneminde var olduğu ve heykeltıraşlar tarafından sıkça başvurulan bir yöntem olduğu tespit edilmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler : Heykel, Desen

In this study, with the samples that has reached modern days throughout history, the importance of drawing, which is an important process in sculpturing, as a way searching opinion is studied. By starting with the usage of drawing as a way communication, how important was drawing for the sculptures who lived till the mid 20th century and made their marks in history with their works is determined with the help of their biographies in this study. It has been enriched by a personal study and important sculptures that has been found in the search of thesis and the samples of their drawing sketches. According to the data that has been reached in this study, it has been found out that although lots of sketches can not survive, drawing has always existed in history not only in the plan of work of art and but also as an important part of process of education and it has been an important method which has been frequently used by the sculptors.Key Words : Sculpture, Drawing
