Sanatta monokrom uygulamalar

Abstract

Bu çalışmada tek renk ya da az renk anlamına gelen monokrom, bir anlayış olarak değerlendirilmiştir.Bu anlayışın tarihsel süreci incelendiğinde, monokrom resimlerin tek renk oluşu ve sonsuzluk etkisi yaratması bakımından felsefede karşılığının yüce kavramına dayandığı görülmüştür. Yüce kavramından ilk bahseden kişi olarak bilinen Longinus edebiyat üzerinden açıklarken, Plotinos inanç doğrultusunda incelemiştir. Edmund Burke tarafından yüce psikolojik olarak ele alınmış ve yüce kavramına Kant estetik değerler doğrultusunda açıklık getirmiştir. Çalışmanın diğer bölümlerinde, Uzak Doğu resimleri, inanışları ve monokrom resim sanatının tarihsel sürecinde yer almış sanatçılar incelenmiş ve bu doğrultuda ortaya çıkan resimlerle monokrom anlayış resim sanatı üzerinden ifade edilmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler : Yüce, Monokrom, Soyut

In this study, monochrome, which means using single or little color, is addressed as a concept. When the historical process of this understanding is examined, with respect to monochrome's employing single color orientation and supplying a concept of eternity, it has been seen that monochrome paintings are based on the sublime concept in philosophy. While Longinus, who is known as the first person to mention concept of the sublime, explains this through literature, Plotinos has examined it from the point of view of faith. Edmund Burke has considered the concept of sublime on the basis of psychology and the concept of the sublime has been clarified in the direction of Kant's aesthetic values.In other parts of the study, Far Eastern paintings, beliefs and artists who have been involved in the historical process of monochrome painting have been examined and the monochrome understanding has been tried to be clarified through the art of painting with the images that emerged in this direction.Key Words : Sublime, Monochrome, Abstract
