İHİB halı tasarım yarışmasında ödül alan eserlerin malzeme, teknik ve desen özellikleri

Abstract

Araştırma İstanbul ili sınırları içinde bulunan İTKİB arşivinde yapılmıştır. İTKİB'in düzenlediği halı yarışmasında dereceye giren 40 eserin fotoğrafları çekilmiş ve bu eserlerin boyut, araç gereç, manifesto, kompozisyon, motif, teknik özellikleri incelenmiş ve her bir eser için hazırlanan bilgi formlarında bu özellikler belirtilmiştir. Yarışmaya katılan bireylerin tamamı Üniversite öğrencileri olup birbirinden farklı tasarımlarla yarışmada birçok kişiyi geride bırakıp dereceye giren eserleri incelenmiştir. İHİB halı tasarım yarışmasında 2007 ile 2015 yılları arası dereceye girmiş tüm eserler araştırma kapsamına alınmıştır. Araştırmada, ulaşılabilen eserlerin genel durumunun temiz, yıpranmamış olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Öte yandan bu halıların, genel olarak arşivde üst üste dizili olarak saklandığı bilinmektedir. Eserlerde düğüm sıklıkları, hav yükseklikleri ve benzeri özelliklerin, her bir çalışmada farklı olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Genel olarak atkı, çözgü ve hav ipliğinde farklı tür iplik ve materyaller kullanıldığı anlaşılmaktadır. Yarışmada derece alan eserler ağırlıklı olarak geometrik desenlere sahip çalışmalardır.

The research was carried out in the ITKIB archives located in the province of Istanbul, Turkey. Pictures of the 40 works which were graded in the carpet contest organized by İTKİB were taken and they were examined and analyzed in terms of the dimensions, tools, manifest, composition, motifs and technical features and these properties were specified in the information forms prepared for each work. All of the examined designs were belong to contestants who are university students and have left many people behind in competition with their distinct designs. In the IHIB carpet design contest, all works that have been graded between 2007 and 2015 have been included in the resarch. In the research, it is understood that the general situation of the works which can be reached is clean and not worn out. On the other hand, it is known that these carpets are generally stored on top of the archive. It is understood that the knot frequency, pile height and similar characteristics in works are different in each work. It is generally understood that different types of yarns and materials are used in weft, warp and pile yarns. Works that take place in the competition are mainly those with geometric designs. It is obvious that such competitions will have positive effects on the self-development of university students. For this reason, the number of such competitions needs to be increased
