Giysi modasında dekonstrüksiyon kullanımının incelenmesi

Abstract

Giysi modasında dekonstrüksiyon kullanımın incelenmesini temel alan bu araştırmada, tasarımın teori ile buluşma noktalarından biri olan dekontrüksiyon kullanımına ilişkin saptamalar yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada öncelikle felsefe içinden türemiş dekonstrüksiyon kavramı ve bu kavramı ortaya çıkaran Jacques Derrida' nın fikir ve görüşleri ayrıntıları incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın amacı giysi modasındaki dekonstrüksiyon uygulamalarını inceleyerek kullanımını belirlemektir. Bu doğrultuda dekonstrüksiyona öykünen tasarımcıların dekonstrüksiyon eğiliminde olduğu varsayılan tasarımlarından gerekli veriler elde edilmiştir. Bu veriler aracılığıyla Derrida' nın dekonstrüksiyon fikirleri özümsenerek giysi modasında nasıl yer edinebildiği kuramsal ve pratiksel olarak araştırılmıştır. Görsel analiz yönteminin kullanıldığı bu araştırmada, giysi modasında hangi uygulamaların dekonstrüksiyon kapsamında incelenebileceğine dair kategorilendirme yapılması ihtiyacı doğmuştur. Bu ihtiyacın doğma sebebi dekonstrüksiyon kavramının sınırsızlık içermesidir. Yapılan kategorilendirmenin ardından özgün bir görsel analiz formu oluşturulmuştur. Görsel analiz formu, dekonstrüktif giysinin görünüm özellikleri ve giysinin dekonstrüksiyon analizi adlı iki kategoriden oluşmaktadır. Giyside dekonstrüksiyon kullanımının belirlenmesi için seçilen görseller bu görsel analiz formunda değerlendirilmiştir. Bu değerlendirmeler araştırmanın bulgularını, kullanımına dair sayısal veriler ise araştırmanın sonuçlarını oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırma, giysi modası alanında dekontrüksiyon kullanımının incelendiği ilk kapsamlı araştırma olması ve bundan sonraki araştırmalara ışık tutabilmesi bakımından önemlidir.

This research, which is based on the main problem of thesis titled examining the use of deconstruction in Clothing Fashion, attempts to determine the usage of deconstruction, which is one of the meeting points of design and theory. In the study, first of all, the concept of deconstruction derived from philosophy and the ideas and opinions of Jacques Derrida, who revealed this concept, were examined in detail. The purpose of the study is to determine the level of usage of deconstruction by examining the deconstruction applications in clothing fashion. In this direction, the necessary data are obtained from the designer's works, which are assumed to have tendencies towards the deconstruction. Through this data, Derrida's deconstruction ideas internalized and the ways of how to place it in the clothing fashion as theoretically and practically was investigated. While using visual analysis method, in this research, it was necessary to categorize which applications can be examined in deconstruction in clothes fashion. The reason this need arises is that the immensity of to the concept of deconstruction. Following the categorization, a unique visual analysis form was generated. The visual analysis form consists of two categories: the appearance properties of the deconstructive dress and the deconstruction analysis of the clothes. The selected images for determining the usage of deconstruction on the clothes are evaluated in this visual analysis form. These evaluations constitute the findings of the research, while level of usage forms the results of the research. Since it is the first comprehensive study to examine the use of deconstruction in the field of clothing fashion, this study can shed light on more future research regarding the clothing fashion field.
