dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT This study was carried out to devise communicative activities to support Kernel Intermediate, a course book which is widely taught in Turkey. The purpose of the introduction chapter is to explain the aim and the scope of the study. The second chapter outlines the Communicative Approach giving its historical perspectives, theoretical bases and basic classroom applications. The general characteristics and the types of the communicative activities are given in the last part of this chapter. The conclusion chapter summarizes the study, and some suggestions are also made in applying and developing the communicative activities. The present study has 27 appendices each conta ing materials to be given to the students for practicing the related activities. - xxi - | en_US |
