Abstract
ABSTRACT The Mondros Armistice means the end of The World War I for the Ottoman Empire, who entered the war without any preparation. This armistice ended the war, but in reality, it caused the whole empire end. With the armistice had been signed, there began to produce ways for Turkey's independence. The independence ways, which made Turkish political life busy at this period can be examined in various dimensions. Example: Taking refuge behind English protection, accepting an American mandate which would be formed in our country. But after a while, it abandoned this opinion, because, whether England's wants to follow cutting into parts politics, instead of get the whole Turkey into its protection; or United States's wants to form a mandate only in The Straits and in Armenia. On the other hand, despite all of these, these opinions continued from signing the armistice to the beginning of the year 1920.
