Abstract
In the World War II. Turkey not only was under the pressure of the Allied Powers but also struggled againts political, cultural and economic effors of Germany whose aim was to make Turkey as a part of war. This study develops the framework of the relationship between Turkey and Nazist Germany and how Germany effected Turkey in the fieldsof politics and culture dependig on this relationship. When Hitler came into power in 1933, Germany began to carry out revisionist politics in the foreign affairs. In this period, Germany tried to infuluence countries whose economy and army were weak in Balkans and Middle East according to its Lebensraum policy which include its all foreign affairs. Germany began to carry out propaganda activities in Turkey in order to control the Near East by using Turkey in 1933. Germany established a well organized and systematic organization and acclerated its activities by using press, schools and mass media to reach its own aims. Nazist Germany wanted Turkey to join the group of The Axis Powers in the war. In addition to this, Germany wanted to create suitable conditions in order to control Turkish market because of its importance of strategial place. In spite of all these efforts, German propaganda could not achieve to reach its main aims determined by war administration whose goal was to cause Turkey to support Germany.
