Abstract

Aristoteles'in ortaya atmış olduğu kıyas yöntemi, genel bir ilkeyi temsil eden büyük öncüle dayanır.Diğer taraftan Francis Bacon'ın savunduğu tümevarım, ilgili olguların geniş bir koleksiyonundan hareket eder. Bacon'a göre bilgi, gözlemlenebilir deneyimden başlayarak, tekil aksiyomlar ya da önermeler üzerinden daha genel olana yükselir ve tabiatın evrensel kanunlarına ulaşmayı hedefler...

The results of the syllogism which was put forward by Aristotle, based on a major premisse that represents a general principal. on the other hand, the induction which was defended by Francis Bacon, rises up from large collection of related phenomenons. According to Bacon, knowledge starts from sensible experience rises up from lower axioms or propositions to more general ones and aims reach the universal laws of nature.
