Abstract
Statik itme analizi sırasında her bir plastik mafsalda tüketilen plastik enerji hesaplanarak, tüm yapının tek yönlü doğrusal olmayan davranışta tükettiği toplam plastik enerji belirlenmektedir. Yapı plastik enerji kapasitesi, spektral yer değiştirmeye karşılık grafiksel olarak elde edilmektedir. Yapıların sabit yer değiştirme sünekliği için oluşturulan inelastik giren enerji spektrumlarını esas alan bir yöntem geliştirilmekte ve yapılara ait deprem plastik enerji talepleri belirlenmektedir. Yapıların plastik enerji talebi değerlerine kadar statik itme analizleri gerçekleştirilmekte ve deprem enerji talebine ulaşıldığında yapıların deprem güvenliğinin belirlenmesinde kullanılan birtakım elastik ötesi yapısal tepki büyüklükleri elde edilmektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlar ve geliştirilen yöntemden elde edilen deprem enerji talebi değerleri, çalışmada zaman tanım alanında doğrusal olmayan dinamik analizlerin gerçekleştirilmesi ile sınanmaktadır. Çalışmada, betonarme kesitlerin tek yönlü doğrusal olmayan davranışında tüketilen plastik enerjinin hesaplanmasına yönelik teorik eşitlikler geliştirilmiştir. Belirli kabuller altında geliştirilen denklemlerin kullanılmasıyla betonarme kesitlerin teorik plastik mafsal uzunluğunda tüketilen plastik enerjileri hesaplanmıştır. Çalışmalar kesit bazından çerçeve yapı sistemi bazına taşınarak, boyutlandırılan çok katlı betonarme çerçeve yapı sistemlerinde doğrusal olmayan davranışta tüketilen plastik enerji yapının yer değiştirmesine karşılık grafiksel olarak elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen grafikler yapılara ait plastik enerji kapasitesi diyagramlarıdır. Çalışmada, geliştirilen ve sabit süneklikli inelastik giren enerji spektrumlarının kullanımını esas alan yöntemin kullanılması ile belirlenen deprem enerji taleplerine kadar statik itme analizleri uygulanmaktadır. Doğrusal olmayan statik itme analizlerinin durdurulacağı maksimum hedefe mevcut yönetmeliklerde önerilen yer değiştirme esaslı yöntemlerle değil, geliştirilen yöntemden deprem enerji talebinin belirlenmesi ile enerji esaslı olarak ulaşılmaktadır. Çalışmada, betonarme çerçeve yapıların deprem güvenliği geliştirilen enerji esaslı yöntem ile belirlenmekte ve yöntemin geçerliliğinin irdelenmesinde zaman tanım alanında doğrusal olmayan dinamik analizler kullanılmaktadır. A new method to satisfy the earthquake safety of multistorey reinforced concrete frame structures is developed in the PhD thesis. Structural models which will be used in nonlinear analyses are created and RC frame structures are pushed until structural collapses are reached. In the study, the total absorbed plastic energies in plastic hinge regions of the structures are calculated during the pushover analyses and then the absorbed plastic energies of the whole structures in monotonic nonlinear behavior are determined. Plastic energy absorption versus spectral displacement graphs of the RC frame structures are obtained. A method which considers the inelastic earthquake input energy spectrum for a constant displacement ductility of a structure is developed and earthquake plastic energy demands of the multistorey frame structures are determined in the study. Monotonic pushover analyses until the plastic energy demands of the structures are performed and the inelastic structural responses are obtained when the earthquake plastic energy demands are reached in the energy based static pushover analyses. Inelastic responses and earthquake plastic energy demands of the structures from the developed method are tested by performing the nonlinear dynamic time history analyses in the study. In the study, theoretical formulas have been developed to obtain the plastic energy which is absorbed by the monotonic nonlinear behavior of reinforced concrete sections. Absorbed plastic energies in plastic hinge lengths of the reinforced concrete sections are calculated by using the developed energy equations which are valid under definite acceptances. Studies are transfered from section basis to whole structure system and absorbed plastic energy of the whole structure is obtained graphically from the plastic energy versus roof displacement graphs. The plastic energy versus roof displacement graphs are called the plastic energy capacity diagrams of the structures in the study. Structures are pushed until the earthquake energy demands which are obtained from the method developed in the study that considers the inelastic earthquake input energy spectra. While doing the pushover analysis the results stop at a displacement which is predicted by formulas in nonlinear seismic design codes. However in the developed method of this study, maximum target where the pushover analyses will be stopped is taken into account as an energy. Pushover analyses are stopped at the average plastic energy value obtained from the plastic energy demands of the selected earthquakes. In the study, the earthquake safety of the RC structures are determined by using the developed energy based methodology and nonlinear dynamic time history analyses are used in the examination of validity.
