Abstract
In this work, micromechanical exfoliation, an easy method for production of high quality graphene sheets, yet in small quantities, is applied to the rolling process, which is used frequently in mass production of materials. A basic model of the system is provided and compared to other potential candidates for mass production of graphene in terms of feasibility and cost.Certain criteria that should be met by other supercapacitor components and how they will be integrated into the process is specified and a material is selected from amongst the ones that fulfill these requirements. To find out about the effects of two main parameters that control the quality of graphene product, repetition count and speed of rolling, exfoliation is performed using different parameters. Samples are then examined under an optical microscope and using data regarding number of layers in relation to contrast, a basic comparison is made utilising percentage of these different contrasts to determine most single layered graphene output.
