Abstract
Numerical analyses are one of the most commonly used methods for determiningthe vibro-acoustic characteristics of structures. These analyses are also used inverification studies of experimental, semi-analytical and energy-based methods. This thesis is written to show the application methods of various numericaluncertainty analysis techniques. The studies in the thesis are an important part of anational research project aiming to develop an effective method in the mid and highfrequency region. In this thesis, the principles of numerical modal analysis, numerical harmonic analysis, Finite Element-Monte Carlo analysis applied tosystems that develop from simple systems to highly complex systems are presented.Within the scope of the thesis, uncertainty Finite Elements analysis performed anddiscussed in detail in the thesis. The effects of structural variations causing vibroacousticuncertainty are obtained via FEM-Monte Carlo simulations from simple tovery complex structures such as single plate to a cabinet. FEM-Monte Carlo resultsof cabinet compared with Modal Impedance Method results which developed withinthe scope of TUBITAK project also this thesis part of.
