Abstract
Serçeme stream of dramaj catchment area, which take place In the East Anatolian part of Northeast Anatolian section, is in the borders of Northwest section of Erzurum Basen. This coused the Daphaii meadow which constitutes the west part of Erzurum Basen. The Borders of the catchment area, which spreads (widens) through the direction of northeast and southwest, passed the water lines of the mountainous parts (areas). The east side of the mountainous parts of the catchment area has a volcanic character while the the mountains in the west side are expressed by sediments. Because of the Serçeme stream, which flows through the parallel direction of the catchment area, the field has been norrowly fissured and has a defective vision. The morphologic units out of this result are as follows: Mountainous places, hills, flat fields, hillsided areas, mass movements, valleys, straits, and heap cones. The plant cover of our field of study, that seems to be narrow partof the forest constitutes the step formation. Because of the terrestrial climate and of the fisssured topography, farming Is limited and the main source of living is maintained from cattledealing
