ÖZET DOKTORA TEZÎ KARAZ'DAN OTLUKBELİ'NE SAVAŞLAR AHMET TOKSOY DANIŞMAN: Prof.Dr. Özellikle Akkoyunlu-Karakoyunlu rekabetiyle devam eden mücadele Osmanlı Sultam Fatih Sultan Mehmed'in Akkoyunlu hükümdarı Uzun Hasan'ı 1473 Otulukbeli savaşmda yenilgiye uğratmasından sonra kısmen duraklamıştır. Osmanlı Devletinin bölgeye hakim olmasından sonra Osmanlı-Safavi mücadelesi başlamıştır. Osmanlı Sultanları bundan dolayı çeşitli tarihlerde doğu Anadolu üzerine sefere çıkmak zorunda kalmışlardır. One of the most important things, which is understood from the development of the fights to be made, is that; It is necessary to dominate the East Anatolia District to confiscate the geography of Anatolia. Then, because of this reason, Baseleios the Second, the Emperor of Byzantium, began the campaign of East. The Seljukian Turks started the conquest actions, which they made on the Anatolia, at first from the East Anatolia. The Turkish Armies, which passed from the basin of Karasu-Euphrates with the basin of Aras, extended until the inner of Anatolia. After the Seljukian conquests, The Turkish states, which established in the district of the East Anatolia, Principally attached importance the struggle with the Georgians. But then, they began the sovereignty struggle themselves. Especially this struggle which continued with the rivalry of Akkoyunlu-Karakoyunlu partially stopped after Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror, the Sultan of Ottoman, defeated Uzun Hasan, Akkoyunlu in the warofOtlukbeli, 1473. After the Ottoman State dominated the district, the struggle of the Ottoman- Safavi began. The Ottoman Sultans, therefor, had to campaign on the East Anatolia sometimes.
