Abstract
ÖZET YÜKSEK LİSANS TEZİ ERZURUM CAMlLERİNDEKÎ TARİHİ HALILAR Yunus BERKLÎ Danışman : Yrd. Doç. ömür KOÇ 1998, Sayfa : Jüri : Yrd.Doç.Ömür KOÇ Halı sanatının Türkler'in yerleştiği bölgeler de başlaması ve onlarla birlikte yayılması bugün ilim aleminde artık kabul edilen bir gerçektir, Türklerle beraber gittikleri bölgelerede birer saltanat, soy ve zenginlik alameti olarak giden halı, batıda her zaman `doğunun lüksü` olarak algılanmıştır. islam dünyasına da Türkler'le giren halı, islam ordularının Erzurum'u feth etmeleriyle bölge, hızlı bir halı üretim ve ihracat merkezi olmuş, adı da halı merkezi manasına gelen `Kalikâla` ya dönüşmüştür. Saltuklular ve Anadolu Selçukluları zamanında çok önemli bir üretim ve ticaret merkezi olan Erzurum sırasıyla Moğol, Timur, Akkoyunlu - Karakoyunlu, S af evi, Rus ve Ermeni tahrip ve katliamlarıyla hızla harap bir hale getirilmiştir. Bölge bir zamanlar halı üretim merkezi iken, önemli bir gümrük merkezi olması nedeniyle de dışarıdan bol miktarda halı ithal eden ticareti yoğun bir merkez durumuna gelmiştir. işte, Erzurum Merkez camilerinde araştırmaları yapılan el dokuma halıların, büyük çoğunluğunun Erzurum dışından geldiği, bir kısmının da Iran, Azerbaycan ve Kafkasya bölgesinden ya ithalat ya da göç yoluyla bölgeye girdiği tesbit edilmiş olup, dönem olarak ta 18.y.y 2.yarısı ile 20.y.y başlarına ait oldukları görülmüştür. ilk kez tarafımızdan tesbit edilip, kataloglanan bu örneklerin dokuma teknikleri, komposizyon ve desen özellikleri verilmiş, son bölüme de karşüaştırma - değerlendirme eklenerek bu dokumaların sağlıklı bir şekilde dönemi ve bölgesi verilmeğe çalışılmıştır. Yrd.Doç.ömür KOÇ It is today a commonly a greed fact that the art of weaving carpet began and spread with Turks in their settlements. Regarded as a sign of luxury, wealth and nobillity in the regions where Turks went, carpet has always been classified as ` the luxury of the East` in the west. Carpet came into the Islamic world with Turks. The conquest of Erzurum by Islamic Army turned the region very fast into a centro of carpet production an export. Its name changed into `Kalikala` meaning ` Carpet Centre`. A very important centre of production and trade in the period of Saltuklu and Anadolu Selçuklu, Erzurum was ruined respectively upen the attacks and massacres of Mongols, Timur, Akkoyunlu - Karakoyunlu, Safevies, Armenies and Russians. Due to the fact that the region was a crucial customs when it was a carpet centre, it came to be atrade centre importing a lots of carpets as well as exporting. Our researches on the hand - made carpets in the central mosques in Erzurum show that most of have them came from outside; and some of them are from Iran, Azerbaijan and Caucasia. They have been either imported or brought by the emigrants to the region. They also date back to early 18 th. and 2 oth. centuries. These Carpets were first examined and catalog by. Is we gave the weaving technigues, compositis and desings of theur in the chapters. we also added a comparative - evaluation part to the last chapter and thus aimed to give a healthy and accurate knowledge of their periods and origins.
