Abstract
Turkish art of painting has been effected by many civilizations from thebeginning to today, accosionally it assimilated these effects and refused them.Until 1900?s East Islamic Culture was dominant, especially with the declaration ofRepublic, Turkish art of painting stated to be influenced by western world. Tokeep in step with contemporary world standarts, abstract art is much preferedgradually. To understand and assimilate the abstract art in the period starting from1930?s until 1950?s was very hard. But mutinity of new generation artists showedthat abstract art could be carried out in Turkey as well. When the 20 th Century people and life is taken inforonsideration the newgeneration artists, who saw how the people estengrad from each other andenvironment they live in, spread the abstract art over the world against themonotonious system that they suffer with a revolt. Surely, Turkish artists had tobe a part of this revolt. With this mission the Turkish abstract artists have searched the one whichis new and original with respect to their works and they could add the Turkishculture to them. They presented the pictural process of abstract art in Turkey to uswho are sitting on a tremendous rich inheritance.
