E.T.A. Hoffmann`ın eserlerinde fantastik öğeler

Abstract

Alman Romantik Dönemi'nin önemli yazarlarından biri olan Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann'ın fantastik öğeler içeren Prenses Brambilla, Kum Adam, Şövalye Gluck, Taştan Kalp ve Yılbaşı Gecesi Maceraları eserleri Fantastik Yazın'ın bir kolu olan Doppelgänger izleği çerçevesinde incelenmiştir.Giriş bölümünde fantastik kelimesinin etimolojisi üzerinde durularak bir literatür tartışması ortaya konulmuştur. Birinci bölümde; fantastiğin bir yazın türü olarak ne zaman, nasıl ortaya çıktığı anlatılmış ve Fantastik Yazın örnekleri belirtilmiş, Fantastik Yazın'ın diğer türlerle olan ilişkisine ve dünya edebiyatlarında bulunan örneklerine yer verilmiştir.İkinci bölümde; Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann'ın hayatı, Doppelgänger izleğinin anlamı, tarihsel süreci ve hangi yazarlarca işlendiği anlatılmış ve Prenses Brambilla, Kum Adam, Şövalye Gluck, Taştan Kalp ve Yılbaşı Gecesi Maceraları eserlerinde bulunan Doppelgänger izlekleri incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde; Hoffmann'ın Doppelgänger izleğini ortaya koyarken kulandığı Ayna, Gözlük, Maske, Gölge metoforları açıklanmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde ise tüm bölümlerin genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır.

Including fantastic elements as Prenses Brambilla, Kum Adam, Şövalye Gluck, Taştan Kalp and Yılbaşı Gecesi Maceraları, the works of Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann, one of the significant writers of German Romantic Age, have been analysed within the context of Doppelgänger theme, which is a branch of fantastic literature.In the introduction part, a literature review has been given by focusing on the etymology of the word `fantastic?. In the first part, the questions when and how fantastic literature emerged as a literary genre have been explained and the examples for the fantastic literature have been identified, and the relationship of fantastic literature with the other genres and its samples in the world literature have been enlightened.In the second part, the life of Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann, the meaning and the historical process of the theme of Doppelgänger, and the writers using it have been explained and the Doppelgänger themes in the works Prenses Brambilla, Kum Adam, Şövalye Gluck, Taştan Kalp and Yılbaşı Gecesi Maceraları have been analysed. In the third part, the `mirror?, `glasses?, `mask? and `shadow? metaphors, which Hoffman used while presenting the theme of Doppelgänger, have been described..In the conclusion part, a general evaluation of all the chapters has been made.
