Abstract
Although fıction or understanding of fıctionism is not a creation of modern poetry, it is an asthetics attitude which has taken a form with modern poetry. The comprehension of the fıction which belongs to the base of the poem will lead us to the poet and his/her conscious. Thus, in order to comprehend the basic component of fıction, the fıction and the conscious which has written the poem are needed to be defıned. The intensity of fiction in Edip Cansever?s poems and their relation with reality make Edip Cansever as an good example. His basic starting point which produces the fiction is the lack of harmony between individual and the external world. We see the conflict especially between inner and external world in those poems. The influence of these two facts on the poet will not only reflect on his fiction but also determine his fiction. For this reason, the lines which made the poems constitutes the great narrative of the conflict between inner and external world of the individual. Consequently, Edip Cansever reflects the components of this interval extent which was pictured between object and individual by fiction and especially surrealist fiction.
