Abstract
Bu çalışmada amaç, iki büyük düşünür, Platon ve Aristoteles'in devlet ve devlete ilişkin sorunları nasıl ele aldıklarını ortaya koyabilmek. Ayrıca biri ütopik diğeri gerçekçi iki farklı bakış açısının devleti ilk ve sistemli bir şekilde incelemesinin düşünce tarihinde sahip olduğu önemi göstermektir.Platon ve Aristoteles'in kendi eserlerinden yararlanma yanında, farklı görüş ve yorumları elde etmek amacıyla da, bu düşünürler üzerine yapılmış çalışmalara ve eserlere de başvurulmuştur.Çalışmanın Giriş bölümünde Platon ve Aristoteles'e kadar ve onlardan günümüze kadar olan devlet ve toplum sorunları, dönemleri itibariyle incelendi. Birinci Bölüm'de Platon ve Aristoteles'in devlet için öngördükleri sorunlar ayrı ayrı ele alındı. İkinci Bölüm'de iki düşünürün devlet öğretilerinde benzer ve farklı yönler karşılaştırmalı bir şekilde değerlendirildi. Sonuç bölümünde ise genel bir değerlendirme yapıldı.Anahtar Kelimeler: Devlet, Devlet Adamı, Siyasi Yönetim, Yasa, Anayasa, Mülkiyet, Erdem, Mutluluk The aim in this study, is to be able to put forward how Plato and Aristotle?s two great philosophers, took charge of state and matters abaut state. Moreover it is to show that two different points of view, one of them is utopic, the other is realistic have the importance of examining the state firstly and sistematically in the history of thought.Besides benefitting Plato and Aristoteles?s own works, ıt is applied to works and studies about these philosophers because of having different vievs and comments.In the entrance part of the study, state and society problems until Plato and Aristoteles and from them to todey were analyzed in the view of their age. In the first part, the problems that Plato and Aristotle predicted fort the state, were handled one by one.
