Kohort analizi ile Türkiyedeki istihdamın kuşaklara göre incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Türkiyede kuşaklara göre istihdam üzerindeki yaş, kohort ve yıl etkisini incelemek için kohort analizi yapılmıştır. Analize göre istihdam üzerinde yaş, yıl ve kohort etkilerinin varlığı tespit edilmiştir.Çalışmada kuşakların ayrıntılı tanıtımı yapılmış ve doğum yıllarına göre kuşaklar ayrıştırılmıştır. Ayrıca kuşakların toplam nüfus içerisindeki payı tespit edilmiş, işgücü ve istihdam içerisindeki payları incelenmiştir. Kohort Analizi ayrıntılı bir şekilde ele alınarak incelenmiş ve literatür taraması verilmiştir. Bununla birlikte uygulama örneğinde 1990, 1995. 2000, 2005 ve 2010 yıllarına ait TÜİK verileri kullanılarak Türkiyedeki istihdam yapısı incelenmiş ve Beaudry-Lemieux modeli kullanılarak istihdam üzerindeki yaş, kohort ve yıl etkileri tespit edilmiştir.

In this study performed cohort analysis to examine the effects of age, cohort, and year on employment by generation in Turkey. The findings identified the impacts of all three predictors on employment.The study introduced the corresponding generations in detail and distinguished them with respect to birth dates. Moreover the studyexamined the cohort analysis in detail and dealed with literature review. Besides, it identified the share of generations in population as a whole and examined its share in workforce and employment structure of Turkey has been examined by using TUİK data of 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005 and 2010 and age, cohort, and year effectson the employment has been determined byusing Beaudry-Lemieux model.
