Abstract
İç Anadolu'nun ve Ankara ilinin en önemli yeşil alanlarından biri olan Kızılcahamam ilçesi, turizm coğrafyası adına son derece önemli kaynaklara sahiptir.İlçe, konumu gereği tarih boyunca çeşitli medeniyetlere yurt olmuştur ve bu medeniyetler Kızılcahamam'a önemli kültür mirasları bırakmıştır. İlçenin birçok noktasında bu unsurlara rastlamak mümkündür.Bu tarihsel ve kültürel zenginlikle beraber Kızılcahamam, hem Türkiye'nin önemli nüfus merkezlerine yakınlığı hem de doğal güzellikleri ile turizm açısından önem arz etmektedir. `Türkiye'nin Termal Cenneti` sloganıyla termal turizmde söz sahibi yapılmak istenen ilçede, çok zengin termal kaynakların yanı sıra flora, fauna ve doğal ve beşeri şartların sunduğu çok çeşitli turistik kaynaklar mevcuttur. Bu kaynaklar içerisinde termal öğelerden farklı olarak, son yıllarda popülerleşen jeosit ve jeopark öğeleri gelmektedir. Bu bağlamda Kızılcahamam, Türkiye'nin ilk jeoparkına ev sahipliği yapmaktadır. One of the most important green places of Ankara and Central Anatolia Region Kızılcahamam district has got extremely important springs in tourism geography. Because of its location the county has become a homeland of different civilizations along the history. And these civilizations have left cultural bequeath all over the county. It's possible to meet these cultural heritage in a number of points of the county. In addition to Kızılcahamam's these historical and cultural prosperities, both its closeness to the important population centers and its natural beauties make it outstanding place for the purpose of tourism. The authorities want to make the county a sightseeing place by the watchword `The Thermal Paradise of Turkey`. In addition to the prosperous thermal springs, the county has various touristic opportunities that have been presented by flora, fauna and the geographical conditions of region. Apart from thermal springs the county has geosit and geopark entities that are popular recent years. In this context Kızılcahamam district is a host town for the first geopark of Turkey.
