Abstract
518 VII.SUMMARY : The earliest examples of the Turkish baths were from the XILth. century. These architectural monuments were formed according to some principles which are described with life style and religious belief of society. Traditional architectural principles of Turkish baths determined to plân typology and architectural properties of these monuments. On the other hand, installation system of these baths are effected by General Anatolian Culture. There are not any difference between the baths from Xll.th. century and Xlll.th. century according to their plân organization and architectural properties. The most important characteristik of plân schema of baths in this period is central space organization which is from Asia residence architecture. Different typologies for the baths can be seen in the XTV.th. century, other than central space organization. One of these different typologies is `Yilchzvari Sıcaklık` type which as special location in our century. This type of bath is seen in XTV.th. century and it includes the influences of Antique Civilizations. Furthermore, this scheme wich will be developed by Sinan. Will be used in the Classical Ottoman Bath Architecture in XlV.th. centur. Developments in the architecture of the baths in XrV.th. century are not limited with only plân sceme. Especially, style differences which are seen in superstructure of these monuments, add some qualities to the second part of this century, in addition to this, Turkish baths in the XlV.th. century have special location in Turkish bath architecture which is developed in Anatolia, by means of all these variations in the architecture of the bath.
