UYGUR TÜRKLERİNDE ON İKİ MUKAM SANATI TÜRK SANATININ AYRILMAZ BİR PARÇASIDIR. Uygur Twelve Mukams are an integral part of Turkish musical art. As previously, Mukam music transferred from generation to generation among the Uygur people. 16. century, Sultan of Yarkent Khanate Abdürreşid Han's wife Amannisahan's musicians, as a result of systematic compilation work, brought into because of war and social turmoil, once had faced to extinction. After 1950, Mukam art was brought to the former brightness by Uygur people. In the first part of this study, description of Uygur Mukam Art has been working in a detailed manner, also Uygur Twelve Mukams has been discussed in detail with historical development process and mukam types and structures.
