Abstract
Hf, Ta, W, Au, Hg, Tl, Pb, Bi, Th ve U elementlerinden yayınlanan karakteristik L X- ışınlan bir Si(Li) yarı iletken detektör kullanılarak ölçüldü. Numuneleri uyarmak için 100 mCi şiddetinde 241Am nokta kaynaktan yayınlanan 59,5 keV enerjili y-ışınları kullanıldı. Elde edilen spektrumlar Microcal Origin (Version: 3.5) programı kullanılarak analiz edildi ve o^, oLy], aL?, oLr44, ve oLYs floresans tesir kesitleri hesaplandı. Hesaplanan a^, aLYl ve oLy 8 fl°resans tes`` kesitleri, floresans verimler, Coster- Kronig geçiş ihtimalleri ve L X-ışını geçiş hızları kullanılarak L alt tabaka fotoelektrik tesir kesitleri elde edildi. Bunlardan toplam L tabakası fotoelektrik tesir kesitleri bulundu. Characteristic L X-rays emitted from Hf, Ta, W, Au, Hg, Tl, Pb, Bi, Th, and U were measured by using a Si (Li) semiconductor detector. To excite the samples, y-rays emitted from a 100 mCi 241Am point source were used. °Lo» 0Ln> a 1*06.8' °LY44` ^ °lys fluorescence cross sections were calculated by analysing the spectra with Microcal Origin (Version: 3.5) software programme. Calculated o^, oLyi, and oLy fluorescence cross sections were converted to L subshell photoeffect cross sections by using fluorescence yields, Coster-Kronig transition probabilities, and L X-ray transition rates. Total L shell photoeffect cross sections were determined as sum of the L subshell photoeffect cross sections. Determined L subshell photoeffect cross sections were compared with the theoretical Hartree-Slater L subshell photoeffect cross sections of Scofield, and L shell photoeffect cross sections were compared with the theoretical Hartree-Slater L shell photoeffect cross sections of Scofield and present experimental results of Arora et al. (1981).
