Abstract

Dr. Gülsen TİMUR Bu araştırmada, İstanbul Boğazı Anadolu Kavağı Yöresinden elde edilen M.galloprovincial is türü midyelerin solungaç ve sindirim bezlerindeki (mide dahil) Fe, Cu, Zn, Pb, ve Al metallerinin birikim düzeyleri ile aylara ve midye büyüklüğüne bağlı değişimleri belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre, Ağustos, Eylül ve Kasım aylarında her üç boy grubu için sindirim bezi (mide dahil) ile solungaçlarda saptanan toplam Zn değeri '230,722 ppm; 239,466 ppm ve 7176,437ppm ) değeri en yüksek bulunmuş, bunu sırasıyla Al, Fe, Cu ve Pb izlemiştir. Ancak Kasım ayında Pb birikimi (25,785 ppm) Cu birikiminden toplam değer olarak daha yüksektir. Ekim ayında ise, en yüksek düzeyde birikim Al metalinde (354,837 ppm) saptanmış olup, bunu sırasıyla Zn (287,382 ppm), Fe (147,720 ppm), Cu (28,133 ppm) ve Pb (18,156 ppm) izlemiştir. Aralık ayında her üç boy grubunda, her iki organda saptanan toplam metal birikim düzeyleri Cu<Pb<Fe<AKZn şeklinde sıralanmıştır. Ocak ve Şubat aylarında ise, her üç boy grubuna ilişkin örneklerde sindirim bezi (mide dahil) ve solungaçlarda en yüksek birikim gösteren metal Pb olmuştur. Ancak Ocak ayında Pb'yi Fe, Zn, Cu ve Al izlerken, bu sıralama şubat ayında Cu, Al, Zn ve Fe şeklindedir. In this study, the bioaccumulation levels of the metals of Iron ( Fe ), Cupper ( Cu ), Zinc (Zn), Lead ( Pb ) and Aluminium ( Al ) have been determined in the gill and digestive gland (including gut) of the mussel, Mytilus galloprovincialis from Bosphorus, Anadolu Kavağı region.According to results, it has been also observed that, accumulation levels of heavy metals found in mussel, M.galloprovincialis and variations depending on the months and mussel size. As a result of data obtained from our studies, it has been found that, total amount of Zn was greater than Al, Fe, Cu, Pb which were determined in gills and digestive gland (including gut) respectively for each three size groups in August, September, and November. It however was found that total amount of the Pb (25,785 ppm) was higher than the total amount of Cu concentration in November. In October, as it was observed, the highest amount of metal among others was Al (354,837 ppm) and it was followed by the amounts of Zn (287,382 ppm), Fe (147,720 ppm), Cu (28,133 ppm), Pb (18,156 ppm). In December the levels of heavy metal concentrations determined in both two organs in each groups could be ordered as following: Cu<Pb<Fe<AKZn At the end of the study, during January and February, the highest Pb concentration was found.'in gil] and digestive glands. On the other hand, the rank accordingthe metal concentrations levels was as follows in February Cu>Al>Zn>Fe.
