Elektron-pozitron çarpışmalarında uyarılmış leptonların üretimi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada uyarılmış leptonlar elektron-pozitron çarpışmalarında incelenmiş ve bu parçacıkların keşfedilme limitleri bulunmuştur. Uyarılmış lepton ile SM leptonu arasındaki etkileşmeler için etkin lagranjiyen yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Uyarılmış leptonların l*-HV şeklinde mümkün bütün bozunma modlan incelenmiştir. In this work, excited leptons was analyzed in electron-positron collisions and the discovery potentials of these particles were extracted. For the interactions between an excited lepton and the SM lepton effective lagrangian method was used. All of the possible decay modes of excited leptons were examined. Signal and backgrounds that had the same final state with signals were studied in detail and the best discovery limits of excited leptons were calculated by applying appropriate cuts. 2004, 70 pages Key Words: Excited leptons, electron-positron, collisions, colliders, new physics
