Trakya`da yayılış gösteren microtus (Mammalia:Rodentia) türlerinin morfolojik özellikleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Türkiye'nin Trakya bölgesindeki 3 farklı lokaliteden yakalanan 47 adet Microtus örneği incelendi. İncelenen örneklerin Microtus subterraneus, M. aff. guentheri ve M. rossiaemeridionalis türleri olduğu belirlendi. Örneklerin kafatası morfolojisi, ölçüleri ve dişlerde adacık tiplerinin şekli araştırıldı ve türlerin ayrımında kullanılabilecek kriterler belirlenmeye çalışıldı. Taksonomik durumları tartışmalı olan Microtus aff. guentheri ve M. rossiaemeridionalis örnekleri Anadolu örnekleri ile karşılaştırıldı. Buna göre Trakya'dan yakalanan M. aff. guentheri türünün topotip örneklerinden farklı olduğu, sibling türler olan M. rossiaemeridionalis ve M. arvalis karşılaştırmasında; incelenen Trakya örnekleri içerisinde M. arvalis'in bulunmadığı, buna göre Trakya örneklerinin M. rossiaemeridionalis olduğu belirlendi.Anahtar Kelimeler: Microtus, morfoloji, Trakya

In this study, 47 Microtus specimens collected from three different localities in Turkish Thrace were examined. It was determined that, these specimens belong to Microtus subterraneus, M. aff. guentheri and M. rossiaemeridionalis. The skull morphology, measurements of specimens and the teeth cusps were investigated in order to determine the criterias for distinguish the species. Especially, M. aff. guentheri and M. rossiaemeridionalis which have taxonomic problem were compared with Anatolian specimens. In this connection, M. aff. guentheri?s topotypes were found to be different from specimens of Turkish Thrace. In comparing sibling species M. arvalis and M. rossiaemeridionalis, it was also revealed that there was no M. arvalis among specimens from Turkish Thrace and all related taxa examined were assigned to M. rossiaemeridionalis.Key Words : Microtus, morphology, Turkish Thrace
