Abstract
52 ÖZET Ultrasonun tendon iyileşmesine etkisi ve dozlarını karşılaştırmak amacıyla de neysel bir çalışma yapıldı. Deney hayvanları on gruba ayrıldı. İlk iki grupta tedavi uy gulanmadan ratm ağırlığı ile yaralı ve yarasız tendonlarda tendon kırılma gücü arasın daki ilişki belirlendi. III. ve Vll.gruba 0.5 w/cm2'îik, kesikli (2 msn on 8 msn off), 5' süreyle V ve IX.gruplara 1.5 w/cm2 dozda, sürekli, 4' süreyle ultrason tedavisi verildi. IV, VI, VIII ve X.gruplara Şam Ultrason Stimülasyonu uygulandı. III, IV, V, Vl.gruplarda, 2, 5, 9, 15 ve 21.günlerde biyomekanik değerlendirme ile tendon kırılma gücü, VII, VIII, IX, X.gruplarda 3. ve 5.günde biyokimyasal değerlen dirme ile doku hidroksiprolin seviyesi ölçüldü. 1.5 w/cm2 dozda, sürekli, 4! ultrason uygulanan gruplarda, tendon kırılma gücü ve doku hidroksiprolin seviyesinde artma olduğu, 0.5 w/cm2 dozda, kesikli (2 msn on 8 msn off), 5' süreli ultrason uygulamasının ise bu etkiyi göstermediği sonucuna varıldı. SUMMARY This experimental study was carried out to compare the doses and effects of US on tendon healing. The animals of experiment were divided into X groups. Association between the breaking strengths of wounded and normal tendons and the weight of animals were determined before treatment in the first two groups. US treatment of 0.5 w/cm2 intermittent (2 ms on, 8 ms off) for 5 minutes in groups III and VII; and 1.5 w/cm2, continuous for 4 minutes in groups V and IX was applied. Groups III`4, IVth, Vth and Xth were sham stimulated. In groups III, IV, V and VI, the breaking strength of tendons was measured with biomechanical assesment at 2nd, 5th, 9th and 21st days; in groups VII, VIII, IX and X, tissue hydroxyproline levels were measured with biochemical assesment at thirth and fifth days. It was concluded that; the breaking strength of tendons and tissue hydroxyproline levels were increased in all groups which were treated with US of 1.5 w/cm2, continuo us for 4 minutes but the treatment of US of intermittent 0.5 w/cm2, and for 5 minutes didn't show this effect.
