Abstract
Yakınsaklık konusunda, elemanların denenmesine yarayan Patch Testi ise uygulama şekilleri ve ilgili örneklemelerle aktarı larak karşıtı ve taraftarı görüşler değerlendirilmiştir.VI 1 SUMMARY Finite element analysis as commonly known, is an approxi mate solution method in engineering applications. In the work presented here, starting from the position of method among the others, properties that provides the solu tion to be convergent were considered. Convergent results, which a.re the basic need in any approximate method, were also described from the finite element point of view with applica tions and problems caused. The Patch Test, a method for analyzing the convergence charac teristics of an element, was focused with application types and related examples. Besides, supporting and contrary ideas were discussed.
