Abstract
2. Bölümde, bazı biyolojik terimler, Holland'ın Basit Genetik Algoritmasının adımları, Genetik Algoritmalarda kullanılan kodlama yöntemleri, başlangıç popülasyonunu oluşturma yollan, seçme yöntemleri ve Genetik Algoritma aramasına olumlu ve olumsuz etkileri, ölçeklendirme fonksiyonları ve neden gereksinim duyulduğu, genetik operatörler, Genetik Algoritmaların temel teoremi, yapı parçaları hipotezi ve eleştiriler, kapalı paralellik, hibrit Genetik Algoritmalar, Genetik Algoritmaların genel ve istatistiksel uygulamalarına yer verilmiştir. 3. Bölümde, Taguchi Deney Tasarım yöntemi ve bu yöntemin alt yapısını oluşturan bazı Deney Tasarım yöntemleri açıklanmıştır. 4. Bölümde, iki yöntemin performanslarının karşılaştırılmasında kullanılan yapay problem kümelerinin nasıl yaratıldığına ve arama uzayına ilişkin bazı bilgiler verilmiştir. 5. 6. Bölümde, elde edilen sonuçlar değerlendirilerek, önerilerde bulunulmuştur. ABSTRACT Specifying the various levels of incomes is an important issue, especially in the production section, in order to optimize the quality of the product. There are various methods proposed for the solution of this problem. In this study, the Taguchi Experimental Design method which is one of these methods and Genetic Algorithm method are compared. These comparison is made using three artificial problem sets. For these comparison, a steady state Genetic Algorithm is developed and this algorithm is programmed by help of the Visual Basic 3.0 for Windows. This developed Genetic Algorithm is named GENMAK in this study. This study is composed of six sections; In the first section, a general information about the Genetic Algorithm is given by the help of the struggle among the creatures in the nature, survival of the fittest and the natural selection concepts. In the second section, some biological concepts, the steps of Holland's Simple Genetic Algorithm, coding methods used in Genetic Algorithms, methods for creation the initial population and the possitive or negative effects of them on Genetic Algorithm search, the scaling functions and why they are needed, the genetic operators, the fundemental theorem of the Genetic Algorithms, the bulding block hypothesis and critiques, the implicit parallelism, the hybrid Genetic Algorithms, the general and statistical applications of the Genetic Algorithms are introduced. In the third section, the Taguchi Experimental Design method and some other Experimental Design methods on which this method is based are described. In the fourth section, some information about how the artificial problem sets used in comparing the performances of the two methods and the search space are given. In the fifth section, the results obtained from the Taguchi Experimental Design method and GENMAK which is developed as an alternative to the former method, are compared according to the success of giving the best solution and the obtained knowledge. In the sixth section, the obtained results are evaluated and the proposals are given.
