Abstract
IV ÖZET Sapsız meşe (Quercus petrea Matt. Lieb. ABSTRACT In this study, it was aimed to specify the bonding properties of the samples gained from the tree types of Quercus petrea Matt. Lieb. Abies bornmülleriana Mattf., Fagus orientalis Lipsky, Pinus silvestris L. and to reach this object three different stick surfaces (rotary saw, parallel planing saw, emery), two different type of adhesives (PVA, PL), two different press-pressure (3kg/cm2 - 6kg/cm2) and two different section surfaces (radial - tangential) was obtained to performed shearing strength experiments parallel to the fibers. Besides the statistical analyze of the effects of the above mentioned factors for every single tree-type, which tree has the highest shearing strength and the broke out percentage of wood fibers at the and of the tests was found out as a total data. Moreover, in this study the surface roughness measurements of tree surfaces which was let to pass from a rotary saw, planned with a 3 cutter headed parallel planning saw and sandpaper with a 80 grade emery, was made. Airdried and ovendried densities of every tree type was found out. And also void volume, cell membrane intensity and volume intensity was obtained. According to these tests, some important datas are tabulated below.
