Abstract
Bu tez çalışması kapsamında, gümüş nanopartikülleri-grafen oksit (AgNPs-GO) nanokompozitleri basit bir yöntemle sentezlendi. Sentezlenen iki farklı AgNPs-GO nanokompozitinin Pyronin Y (PyY) boyar madde molekülleri ile etkileşimleri sulu çözeltide UV-Gör. absorpsiyon ve floresans (durgun hal ve zamana bağımlı) spektroskopisi kullanılarak incelendi. Bu amaçla, öncelikle iki farklı tek düze parçacık boyutlu (~4 ve 6 nm) AgNPs, gümüş(I)asetatın termal ayrışması ve indirgenmesini takip eden surfaktantlı organik çözelti faz prosesi ile sentezlendi. Sonrasında sentezlenen her iki AgNPs'nin, AgNPs-GO nanokompozitlerini hazırlamak için sıvı faz emdirme yöntemi kullanıldı. Her iki nanokompozit ile PyY arasındaki etkileşimlerin farklı olmasının GO tabakalarına yerleşen AgNPs'nin agregasyonunun farklı olmasından kaynaklandığı tespit edildi. Boyar madde moleküllerinin H-agregasyonu sayesinde, görünür bölgede elde edilen PyY'nin geniş absorpsiyon bandı grafene dayalı uygulamalar için oldukça önem taşımaktadır. In this thesis, silver nanoparticles-graphene oxide (AgNPs-GO) nanocomposites were synthesized by a simple method. Interactions of two different synthesized AgNPs-GO nanocomposites with Pyronin Y (PyY) dye molecules were investigated using UV-Vis absorption and fluorescence (steady-state and time-dependent) spectroscopy in aqueous solution. With this aim, firstly, monodisperse AgNPs with two different sizes (~4 and 6 nm) were synthesized by using a surfactant-assisted organic solution phase protocol followed by thermal decomposition and reduction of silver (I) acetate. Secondly, AgNPs were anchored into GO nanoflakes by using liquid self-assembly method to prepare AgNPs-GO nanocomposites. Thus, AgNPs-GO-1 (AgNPs-GO nanocomposite formed by ~4 nm AgNPs) and AgNPs-GO-2 (AgNPs-GO nanocomposite formed by ~6 nm AgNPs) nanocomposites synthesized. The morphology and structures of both colloidal AgNPs and their AgNPs-GO nanocomposites was characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and absorption spectroscopy. The effect of AgNPs-GO-1 and AgNPs-GO-2 nanocomposites on the molecular behavior of PyY in aqueous media was investigated by using UV-Vis absorption, steady-state fluorescence and time-dependent fluorescence spectroscopy. The spectroscopic results revealed that the photophysical properties of the dye molecules were dramatically changed after its interaction with AgNPs-GO nanocomposites in aqueous solution. Also, it was determined that AgNPs-GO-1 nanocomposite influences H-aggregation of PyY more than AgNPs-GO-2 nanocomposites. It is determined that the interactions between the two nanocomposites and PyY are different due to the change of aggregation of AgNPs located in GO layers. Due to the H-aggregation of the dye molecules, the broad absorption band in the visible region of PyY obtained is very important for applications based on graphene.
