Gaziantep yöresinde ağıt geleneği ve ağıtçı kadınlar

Abstract

Sözlü bir gelenek ürünü olan ?agıt gelenegi? eski Türklerden beri devam edenbir gelenektir. Kültürel ürün olarak degerlendirilen bu gelenegin tarih içindedünyanın çesitli yerlerine dagılmıs olan Türklerde ve Anadolu topraklarının birçok yerinde zayıflamısta olsa hala devam ettigi görülmektedir.Gaziantep yöresi agıt geleneginin tez konusu olarak seçilmesindeki amaçyörenin agıtlarından derlemeler yaparak, Gaziantep yöresinde daha öncedenyeterince arastırma yapılmamıs olan agıt gelenegi hakkında, verilere ulasmakve böylece bu konudaki eksiklikleri gidermeye yardımcı olmaktır. AyrıcaDerlenen agıtlar notaya alınarak bu agıtların sadece metin olarak degil, müzikalanlamda da korunmaları amaçlanmıstır.Arastırmanın birinci bölümünde Gaziantep'in genel tanıtımı, ikinci bölümde agıtkelimesinin kavramsal tanımları ve iliskileri üzerinde durulmustur. Arastırmanınüçüncü bölümde Türklerde agıt gelenegi hakkında bilgi verilmeye çalısılmıstır.Dördüncü ve besinci bölümlerde ise Gaziantep agıt gelenegi ve agıtlarıincelenmistir.Arastırmanın sonunda ise elde edilen verilerle ilgili genel bir degerlendirmeyapılarak Gaziantep yöresinin büyük bir bölümünde agıt geleneginin haladevam ettigi sonucuna varılmıs ve degisen zamanın agıt gelenegi üzerindekietkileri ortaya konmaya çalısılmıstır.Konu ile ilgili Anahtar SözcüklerGaziantep, Agıt, Gaziantep Agıtları, Agıt Notaları, Agıt Gelenegi

Elegy tradition? which is an oral tradition output, is a continuing tradition whichcarries on since the time of the Ancient Turks. It can be witnessed that, even ina weakened form, this tradition, deemed as a cultural product, is still carried onby Turks who have, in time, spread through various parts of the World, in suchplaces, and in many areas of Anatolia.The purpose behind the selection of Gaziantep Region elegy tradition assubject of the master thesis is to reach information concerning the elegytradition in Gaziantep region where enough research have not been performedon the said subject, by collecting the region?s elegies and to help making up thedeficiencies about the subject. Also, the collected elegies have been scored,with the intention to preserve them not only in text but also in musical form.The first part of the research is mostly about the general introduction ofGaziantep, the second part is about the conceptual definiton of the word ?elegy?and its relations. On the third part of the research, information about the elegytradition of Turks have been provided. On the fourth and fifth parts, Gaziantepelegy tradition and elegies of Gaziantep have been researched.Finally, at the end of the research, a general evaluation about the obtainedinformations have been performed, and a conclusion has been made about thesurvival of the elegy tradition in a substantial portion of Gaziantep Region, andthe impact of changing times over the elegy tradition has been displayed.Keywords:Gaziantep, Elegy, Elegy Music, Elegies of Gaziantep, Elegy Tradition
