Abstract
Also the optimization of ammonification of both lignites and humic acids obtained with Kreulen method is investigated and optimum ammonification conditions is determined to get organo-mineral fertilizer with a maximum nitrogen content. The properties and usage areas of obtained nitrogened humic compounds and organo-mineral fertilizers are investigated and it is aimed to find their effects on the growth of spinach under greenhouse conditions. The properties of humic compounds and organo-mineral fertilizers obtained from low-cost lignites change with the amount of humic acids present in the structure of lignites used as raw material. It is observed that the organo-mineral fertilizers containing much more humic acid increase the growth of experimental plants. As a result of the experiments, it is determined that the amount of humic acid of low-cost lignites from Konya region changes within 25- 42 %. Therefore, the optimum values of technological parameters were found for the production of ammonium salts from the humic acids present in the structure of lignites. Lignites riched with nitrogen are tested in agriculture and it is suggested that the low-cost lignites from Konya region can be used in the production of organo-mineral fertilizer on condition that it is used in the growth of plants. Key Words : Lignite, humic acid, nitrogen, optimization, organo-mineral fertilizer IV
