dc.description.abstract | Cam elyaf takviyeli polyester, Bu çalışmanın amacı, Cam Elyaf Takviyeli Polyester esaslı kompozit malzemelerde, yapıda bulunan cam elyafın (E camı kullanılmıştır) değişik oranlarda kullanılmasıyla mekanik özelliklere etkisinin araştırılmasıdır. Bu doğrultuda hazırlanan değişik oranlarda ( % 9.... 33 ) cam elyaf içeren numuneler, Çekme deneyi, Eğme deneyi, Darbe deneyi, Sertlik deneylerine tabi tutulmuş ve elde edilen bulgular tablo ve grafikler haline getirilmiştir. Elde edilen değerler neticesinde, cam elyaf miktarındaki artışla beraber kompozit malzemenin mukavemetinin arttığı sünekliğinin azaldığı belirlenmiştir. VIII | |
dc.description.abstract | It is often possible to manufacture, as a superior material by combining two or more substances with complementary properties. The best combination of strength and ductility may be achieved in solids which consists of fibres embedded in a host material. Polymers are particularly suitable as components of composite materials as they adhere so readily to the particles, sheets, or fibres of the other component. Resin impregnated glass fibres - the best known form is GRP ( Glass Reinforced Polymers ), in which glass fibres provide strength while the polymer reduces brittleness. The fibres may woven together, pressed into a mat, or used as a random ` wool `. In this study, mechanical properties of glass fibre reinforced polymer matrix composites are studied. Glass fibres ( E - glass ) are chanced 9 % up to 33 % in the composites and also the other materials ( porystrene, zinc stereat, alcalic peroxyde, magnesium oxyde, pigment paste, calcite...etc.) are included into the rest percentages of GPR composite materials polymer matrix. To investigate the mechanical properties, charpy, tensile and compression testing, bending are used. It is concluded from the mechanical tests that if glass fibers increas in the Glass Reinforced Polymers ( GRP ), ultimate and yield steresses rise but ductility of the composite gradually fall. The result are correlated the results are correlated at the graphs and also tabulated depending upon the glass fibre rates. IX | en_US |
