Abstract
This thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the introduction. In the second chapter some basic definitions and main theorems of spectral analysis that we will use in next chapters are given. The third chapter is composed of three sections. In this chapter, the second-order boun-dary value problem is considered which is generated by a nonselfadjoint q-difference equation and boundary condition with spectral parameter. The Jost solution and Jost function of the boundary value problem are found and the properties of Jost function are investigated. Moreover, the Green function and the resolvent operator of the boundary value problem are obtained. The sets of eigenvalues and the spectral singularities of this boundary value problem are defined. Also, by using the uniquness theorems for analytic functions, the properties of the eigenvalues and spectral singularities are examined. The condition that guarantees that the related boundary value problem has a finite number of eigenvalues and spectral singularities with finite multiplicities is presented. Finally, the last chapter is devoted to the analysis of the results considered in previous chapters.
