Abstract
1970'li yıllardan itibaren tüm dünyada etkisini gösteren İslami hareketteki gelişmeler Türkiye'de de etkisini göstermiş, İslam daha fazla insanı etkilemiş ve İslam, kitle iletişim araçlarında kendine daha fazla yer bulmuştur. 1980'li yıllar boyunca, İslam'ı hayatı benimseyen ve topluma benimsetmek isteyen çevrelerce gerek yazılı ve gerekse görsel medya daha fazla kullanılır hale gelmiştir. Özellikle 2000'li yıllarda literatürde olmamasına rağmen ?İslami Basın? kavramı ortaya çıkmış, basın camiasında ayrı bir kategoriymiş gibi değerlendirilmeye başlanmıştır.1980'li yıllara kadar kadın hareketleri tek düze devam ederken, 1980'li yıllarla birlikte hem iletişim araçlarındaki artış, hem feminist hareketlerde meydana gelen gelişmelerle birlikte birdenbire artış göstermiştir. Diğer basın organları gibi, ?İslami Basın da diğer iletişim araçları gibi kadın konusunda yayınlarında daha farklı politikalara yönelmişlerdir. Bu bağlamda, bir içerik çözümlemesi olan bu çalışmada, kadının İslami basında ne şekilde yer aldığı hegemonya kuramı çerçevesinde incelenmektedir.Bu çalışmada, ulusal ölçekte yayın yapan Zaman, Türkiye, Yeni Şafak ve Vakit adlı dört gazetenin üç aylık dönemdeki kadına yönelik tüm içerikleri ?içerik çözümlemesi? yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. 4766 haber üzerinde yapılan analiz sonucunda, kadına yönelik yayınların gazetelerin % 10'luk bölümü civarında olduğu, kadının daha çok eş, anne ve ev kadını gibi geleneksel rollere göre bu gazetelerde yer aldığı ve bu rollere göre nitelendiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Söz konusu gazetelerdeki dinsel ögeler ise bilgilendirmeye yönelik olarak % 4'ler seviyesinde kalmaktadır.Anahtar Sözcükler: Hegemonya, Basında Kadın, İslami Basın, Kadına Yönelik Söylem, İçerik Çözümlemesi. Showing the effects of development in the Islamic movement all over the world from 1970s showed its effects in Turkey, Islam have influenced more people and Islam has found himself more space in the mass media. Both the written and visual media have become more used during the 1980s by people who adopting İslamic life and want to adopt to the community. Especially the concept of ?İslamic Press? appeared at the 2000s although there is no literature by using discourse and practise and has been evaluated as a separate category by press community.Women?s movements suddenly increased the effect of both increasing communication in the mass media and developments in the feminist movements after the 1980s while continuing in uniform until 1980s. Islamic press tended to different policies about the publications for women such as other press organizations. In this context, this study which is a content analysis, examined the position of the women in the Islamic media within the framework of hegemony theory.In this study, all contents about women at the newspapers is analyzed by using ?content analysis method? which broadcasts the nationwide Zaman, Turkiye, Yeni Safak and Vakit, in the three-months period. As a result of the analysis on 4766 news is determined; newspaper publications about women is around ten percent, is positioned and qualified as wife, mother and housewife's in accordance with the traditional roles. The religious elements in the newspapers to inform that remains at the level four percent.Keywords: Hegemony, Women on Media, Islamic Media, Discourse Against Women, Content Analysis.
