Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Konya ili'nde faaliyette bulunan 4 ve 5 yıldızlı otellerin çalışanlarının tükenmişlik düzeylerini belirlemek ve otel çalışanlarının tükenmişlik alt boyutları puan ortalamalarının çeşitli demografik özelliklere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını tespit etmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, 8 otel işletmesinde, Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği ve kişisel bilgi formundan oluşan anket uygulaması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu uygulama sonucunda elde edilen bilgiler, SPSS 16.0 programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analizler sırasında güvenilirlik analizi, bağımsız örneklem t testleri ve tek yönlü varyans analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir.Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; otel çalışanlarının duygusal tükenme düzeylerinin orta, duyarsızlaşma düzeylerinin düşük ve kişisel başarım düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Bu durumda otel çalışanlarının genel tükenmişliklerinin düşük düzeyde olduğu söylenebilir. Ayrıca otel çalışanlarının demografik ve çeşitli özelliklerine göre tükenmişlik alt boyutları puan ortalamaları; medeni durum, yaş, çalışılan departman, işletmede bulunulan pozisyon, haftada çalışılan gün sayısı, günlük çalışma saati, aylık kazanç, turizmde bulunulan süre ve iş değiştirme isteği değişkenlerinde istatistiki açıdan anlamlı farklılaşma gözlenmiştir. The aim of this study is to find out the level of burnout of employees who work at the 4- and 5-star hotels in Konya, and to whether hotel employees? mean scores? of burnout sub-dimensions vary according to their demographic characteristics. And for this aim, a survey that consists of Maslach Burnout Inventory and personal information form is applied in 8 hotel enterprises. Data that are obtained from surveys are analyzed by using SPSS 16.0. During the analyses, reliability analysis, independent sample t- tests and one- way ANOVA tests are performed. The findings of the study indicated that hotel employees? level of emotional exhaustion is medium, level of depersonalization is low, and, level of personal accomplishment is high. In this respect it can be argued that hotel employees? general level of burnout is low. Also, a statistically meaningful variation is observed between hotel employees? average scores of burnout sub-dimensions according to demographic and variety of features; are differed statistically in the variables such as marital status, age, departments which are worked in, the position in the business, the number of working days per week, daily working hours, monthly income, the time in tourism and the request for the changing job.
