Bey Mahallesi`nde gündelik hayat

Abstract

Tezin amacı; Gaziantep'de tarihi ve merkezi bir mahalle olan Bey Mahallesi'nin gündelik yaşam pratiklerini incelemektir. Bu bağlamda mahallenin kavramsal bir haritası çizilerek, mahalle-şehir ilişkisi ve mahallenin kısa tarihi teorik çerçevede tartışılmıştır. Ev, sokak ve cadde gibi fiziki unsurların yanı sıra dayanışma, yardımlaşma, paylaşma gibi sosyal ilişkiler de mahalle bağlamında ifade edilmiştir. Ayrıca merkez ve gündelik hayat kavramlarına da değinilmiş, Bey Mahallesi'nin konumu, idari sınırları ve özellikleri anlatılmış ve görüşme tekniğiyle gerçekleştirilen nitel araştırmanın analizi paylaşılmıştır.

The aim of thesis is to examine the practices of daily life in Bey Mahallesi (Bey Neighbourhood) -one of the central and historical places in Gaziantep. As the context of it, a short history of the place and the social relations between the place and the city has been discussed by emphasizing the place as whole. All of the ingredients of the place, such as the houses, streets and all the relationships such as occupation, sharing and helping- have been told as of the context. Morever, the context talks about the understanding of both central and daily life and also it contains the location of Bey Mahallesi (Bey Neighbourhood) and its borders are emphasized with analysis of the technics of interviews and it is all in real.
